Basics - hometown, family, college
I live in Mobile, AL and have been married to my wife Stephanie for 10 yrs and we have 2 beautiful girls, Hannah and Addison and 2 cats named Princess and Queenie. You can quess who named the cats.

I went to college at the University of Southern Mississippi for one year and then transferred to the University of Mobile to finish my degree in Psychology with a minor in music.

What do you do in Big Daddy Weave (instrument and other duties)?
I play drums, handle all of the merchandise and provide random Elvis, Niel Diamond and Aaron Neville impressions.

What would you do if you weren't in Big Daddy Weave?
I would just kick into high gear what I currently do on the side. I own a custom and personalized drumstick company called CustomStix.com and provide drumsticks to over 70 clients including Hillsong United, Casting Crowns and MercyMe. Christmas time is nuts at my house as well. I ship our personalized sticks all around the world. I would also spend more time with my personal site at Jeffdrummer.com where I feature instructional drum videos as well as host a small business podcast and blog about what it takes to run a small business from the confines of a 45 ft. tour bus.

Who is your all-time favorite musician/artist?
This would be a close tie between Jeff Pocaro from the group Toto and studio great Vinnie Colaiuta.

What is your favorite type of food?
Pizza. New York style from John's in Greenwich Village and Chicago style from Giordano's

Favorite book:
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk and A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald MIller

Favorite movie:
Currently it is Runaway Jury, but it changes from time to time.

Favorite verse:
The whole chapter of Psalms 103 and Phil. 4:6-7

Best Advice ever received?
"Quit looking for something else when it is in your own backyard" and "Don't wait til it's perfect to ship, it will never be perfect. Ship now and audience will help you make it right".

Who is currently on your iTunes playlist?
I mostly listen to podcast from Joyce Meyer, John Maxwell and Zig Ziglar to name a few. My musical taste is just as broad. I really like ballads from the 80's, Journey, Michael McDonald, Aaron Neville, Kenny Rogers, U2, Sara Groves, Steve Camp, Toto and Tower of Power.

What is your most played song on iTunes?
The Climb by Miley Cyrus-I have two girls under 8. I don't have a choice!

What is your Favorite City and why?
Without a doubt, NYC. I love it. It has everything I could ever want in a city. Not to mention the world's best pizza.

What's something most fans don't realize about BDW?
Our band name started as "Big Daddy Weave and the Institution".

What's the best part about being in Big Daddy Weave?
I love knowing I am able to do what God has called me to do on a daily basis and share it with others around the world. I am still blown away everytime I turn on the radio and hear one of our songs being played knowing God may be using it to speak to someone in a special way beyond what I could ever do in person. It is truly an honor.
