Valentine's Banquet

I attended the Valentine's Banquet at the Carson Center last night and Mike Weaver performed. I felt like I became closer to Christ. I love Big Daddy Weave and how they take songs about God and make them fun and enjoyable. I have brought two of my best friends closer to Christ because of them. I thank them for praising Jesus and bringing my friends closer to him. I hope that I could get the chance to meet them and tell them how much they inspire me to live for Christ. I appreciate Mike taking his time out of his day yesterday to sing for us. I hope to see you guys in concert soon! :)

I am so thankful for the songs that this group has written. On December 20th 2011 it was my 48th birthday. I was feeling sorry for myself that day as it seemed like just another day to me. I went to a Christian book store and started looking for some music to uplift me. I have heard several songs from Big Daddy Weave over the years and always liked them. So I decided to take a chance on their latest, "The Ultimate Collection." Wow! What a CD. Every song is a winner. This music is so powerful. Not only are the tunes uplifting but the lyrics are very meaningful. They have sent such a powerful message about the transforming nature of God and having relationship with Him. I have been playing this CD every day as I travel the 20 miles or so to my work. I am a counselor and it is so helpful to be encouraged by your message that it helps me help others.
