Hi Mike, I am delighted to see you, at your young age, doing what you are and pray that it truly becomes a permanent lifestyle change for you. At this writing, I am 61 years, 3 months of age and have struggled with weight issues for most of my life. Twenty years of my life was spent in the U.S. Navy, so that held me accountable and I managed to keep my weight just under the maximum allowable for most of the career. Since that time, it has been up and down. Last year, I really came under conviction that I truly needed to do something because I was bigger than I had ever been, felt bad most of the time, and knew I was not living a Godly lifestyle if I allowed this to continue. In July, I surrendered the issue to God, changed the way I eat, began exercising and lost 35 pounds before my birthday in October. I’ve managed to keep that off, coming from 220 pounds on a 5’8” frame down to 185 pounds. I want to get on down to around 160, but the main goal is to take care of this Lord’s Temple (my body) in a healthy way. So, though I am not striving to lose 90 pounds, it will be a total of 60 by the time we finish in July of this year. My wife is a wonderful cook, and has been Super Supportive. I decided in October to just maintain through the holidays, and was successful. Now it is back to the hard work of losing. I am also using some supplements, as you are. They definitely do help. May God Bless you in your ministry! I can only imagine the challenges you face being on the road.
