Big Daddy Weave's song "Redeemed" took home the award for Song of the Year at this year's K-LOVE Fan Awards!
The award show, held at the historic Ryman Auditorium, was entirely fan voted. The band took to Facebook after the event to thank their fans for the support, saying "Thank you to the FANS who helped make "Redeemed" Song Of The Year at the K-LOVE Fan Awards!!!! We are truly honored. Thank you God for using this song to touch so many people's lives."

Big Daddy Weave released their third single, “The Only Name,” from their album Love Come to Life to radio today. The album’s second single, “Redeemed,” is the most successful track of their career spending 12 weeks at No. 1 on Christian radio charts, selling over 250,000 units and receiving numerous prestigious nominations for Christian music’s “Song of the Year.”

Earlier today Billboard announced the nominees for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, with Big Daddy Weave receiving a nomination for Top Christian Song for "Redeemed." The awards will air live on Sunday, May 19 beginning at 8/7c on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Mike Weaver, Big Daddy Weave's lead singer and guitarist, recently sat down with Lifeway to talk about the band's hit single, "Redeemed." Mike discusses his past self-deprecation that led to him writing the song, as well as how the song brings hope to him today. In regard to "Redeemed," he exclaims, "Only Jesus can take the stuff that you hate about yourself, and use that to reach people."

Big Daddy Weave is set to depart on the second leg of their highly-successful “The Redeemed Tour” February 1 in Wausau, WI. The tour, featuring chart-topping artist Chris August and special guest Citizen Way, is scheduled to stop in over 38 cities from February through May. This launch comes on the heels of the band’s hit No. 1 single, “Redeemed,” which spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the NCA (National Christian Audience Chart) and nine weeks at No. 1 on the AC Monitored Chart. The video for the hit song has also proven to be a hit as it has amassed close to two million views on YouTube.
