I decided on Nov. 1st 2008 I did not want to be 254lbs any longer. I am 28 years old and felt like I was 128 years old. My back hurt, my legs hurt, I was always out of breath. In July 07, I too made the decision to live a healthier life. I to this date have lost 89.6 lbs and have never been healthier. One thing I did was never say "I am on a diet". I always proclaimed a healthier life style and living the way God designed me to live. I have learned to enjoy the foods He created and to enjoy them the way He created them.

I want to encourage you. It is a hard road but one that you can achieve because you have a Father who loves you and wants what is best for you. Always look to Him when you struggle.

my head is in the game thanks to you big daddy weave, god has blessed me finding you!!!! my story is simaliar to yours and also a very sad, lonely one for me, i have battled this all my life and 4yrs ago gave up all together, still always praying to get back in the battle, but never finding the inspration, but still having the faith god will help me in some way, but knowing i have to join him and the game first, so i too want 90lbs in 09, and i find the courage and insparation through you and god, knowing he will be with me there too as well as you, gives me great comfort and strength, i am morbidly obese, i am 44 and 385lbs and extremely ill in pain everyday, and totally miserable, but seeing you and hearing you has giving me the strength to GET MY HEAD IN THE GAME!!! i too want to find the reason i have let it go like this and cant wait to read the book for my soul, so i can come to grips with myself and god and my faith!!! I have three beautiful grandchildren that i really really want to see grow up!! and seeing you has giving me the faith to do that, and let the morbid obiesity take my life!!!

Thank you for sharing your journey. I also have 90# to lose, and have been starting to realize it is much more of a spiritual thing for me; coming out of a spirit of lack that affects so many other areas of my life. I can't wait to read the Freedom book and for all of us to start taking better care of our temples.

How about if we do this together? At 341 pounds, 54 years old, and a heart patient (heart failure in 9/06 caused by virus), losing 90 pounds in 2009 would extend my life tremendously. Like you said, I need to get my head into it and that is my number one priority!
