March 2, 2009 (Nashville, TN) – A story featuring Big Daddy Weave’s Mike Weaver and his “90 in ‘09” weight loss challenge is scheduled to broadcast this Wednesday on CBN’s nationally syndicated program, The 700 Club.

Resolving to lose 90 pounds this year, Weaver’s feature will additionally include 90 in ’09 support team including author Scott Reall, founder of the YMCA’s Journey to Freedom program, and Dr. Asa Andrew, also known as “America’s Health Coach.”

I heard you on The Joy FM this morning, talking about 90 in 09. Good for you! You will feel so much better and what a great gift not only to yourself but to your wife and children.

In July 07, I too made the decision to live a healthier life. I to this date have lost 89.6 lbs and have never been healthier. One thing I did was never say "I am on a diet". I always proclaimed a healthier life style and living the way God designed me to live. I have learned to enjoy the foods He created and to enjoy them the way He created them.

I want to encourage you. It is a hard road but one that you can achieve because you have a Father who loves you and wants what is best for you. Always look to Him when you struggle.

my head is in the game thanks to you big daddy weave, god has blessed me finding you!!!! my story is simaliar to yours and also a very sad, lonely one for me, i have battled this all my life and 4yrs ago gave up all together, still always praying to get back in the battle, but never finding the inspration, but still having the faith god will help me in some way, but knowing i have to join him and the game first, so i too want 90lbs in 09, and i find the courage and insparation through you and god, knowing he will be with me there too as well as you, gives me great comfort and strength, i am morbidly obese, i am 44 and 385lbs and extremely ill in pain everyday, and totally miserable, but seeing you and hearing you has giving me the strength to GET MY HEAD IN THE GAME!!! i too want to find the reason i have let it go like this and cant wait to read the book for my soul, so i can come to grips with myself and god and my faith!!! I also have 90# to lose, and have been starting to realize it is much more of a spiritual thing for me; coming out of a spirit of lack that affects so many other areas of my life.
